A lifetime record for every car you own.

An invite-only club for enthusiast and collector cars. Every service, modification, and drive is logged against the VIN, and the record follows the car for life.

Car Hero

Entry is by invitation. The card is the invitation; the number is the membership.

AutoTrader gives you a snapshot.
Car Hero gives you the whole movie.

Buy an enthusiast car today and you get a handful of photos and a report that only shows insurance events. The real history, the PPF install, the exhaust work, the tune, who maintained it and how, lives in a shoebox of receipts or in the seller's head. Car Hero moves that history onto the car itself, where it belongs.

The Vault

The record belongs to the car.

Seven entry types cover everything that happens to a vehicle. Logging takes under a minute: photograph the work, attach the invoice, done. Sell the car and the vault transfers with it. Your name stays on the era you owned, and the next owner starts from the whole story instead of a blank page.

Trust tiers

Evidence, graded.

Every entry carries a tier computed from what backs it. Gaps are drawn as gaps, never smoothed over, because a scrubbed history looks scrubbed. A well-documented car should command a premium over an identical undocumented one. The tiers are how that premium gets earned.

T0

Reported

An owner's word, dated and on the record. The starting point every entry can rise from.

T1

Documented

Photo evidence attached at the time of the work. The camera was there.

T2

Invoiced

Invoice attached, with date and mileage checked for plausibility against the rest of the record.

Shop-Verified

Logged by the shop that did the work. The owner cannot edit it. The gold standard of provenance.

A Car Hero record is owner-documented history. It is not an inspection, a certification, or a guarantee of condition. The transparency is the product.

The club

Built on the record, not the feed.

The social layer exists to give the log an audience. Nothing reaches the feed except what was logged in a vault, so the feed stays worth looking at.

The Marketplace

Members

Every car on the platform can take an offer, listed or not, and every car comes with its whole life attached. Offers are documented expressions of intent, not binding contracts; accepting one simply exchanges contact details.

This car isn't listed. You can still make an offer.

The Feed

Cars only. You don't post to Car Hero; you log something real and choose to share it. A feed with a bar for entry.

The History Report

A print-ready report of the whole vault: timeline, trust summary, mileage over time, ownership on Car Hero. The document a serious buyer asks for by name.

Privacy

Notice what's missing: no maps, no locations, no values.

We never store where these cars sleep.

  • GPS is stripped from every photo on upload, with no toggle.
  • Province-level location, nothing finer. No addresses, anywhere.
  • Drives capture the distance, then the coordinates are deleted.

Data not held can't leak. Privacy is not compliance overhead here; it is a headline feature.
